Getting to Champaign-Urbana
1. The easiest way to get to Champaign-Urbana is to fly into the University of Illinois Willard Airport.
Willard has direct connections to Chicago O'Hare, Dallas, and Charlotte, NC. The I-Hotel is located less than 10 minutes away from the Willard airport and provides a complimentary shuttle service. The Union hotel does not provide a shuttle service from/to the airport.
2. You can fly into Bloomington, IL Central Illinois Regional Airport.
Bloomington airport has direct connections to Chicago O'Hare, Orlando, St. Petersburg, Dallas, and Atlanta. Bloomington airport is located 1 hour drive from the I-Hotel but you will need to rent a car as the bus service is not available.
3. You can fly into Indianapolis, IN.
Indianapolis airport is located an easy 2 h 11 minute drive from the I-Hotel but you will need to rent a car as the bus service is not very convenient.
4. You can fly into Chicago O'Hare airport.
O'Hare is located 2 h 36 minute drive from the I-Hotel but the traffic may be much worse than if you were driving from Indianapolis. You could rent a car and drive to Champaign or take a Peoria Shuttle bus. The shuttle from O'Hare Airport costs $61 (both ways) and takes approximately 4 hours to get to Champaign-Urbana. It arrives at the Illinois Terminal/Ikenberry (central campus) from which you will need to take a taxi/Uber to the I-Hotel or the Union. You can purchase the bus ticket at:
5. You can fly into the St. Louis airport.
St. Louis Lambert airport is located 2 h 50 minutes drive from the I-Hotel. You will need to rent a car if you choose this option.
